AMBASSADORS REGISTRATION DEADLINE
Haitian
Diaspora is currently looking for volunteers to
launch a community health campaign in the Haitian
Community of South Florida and to also assist,
educate, and enroll the public in the
Medicare/Medicaid/Kidcare benefits programs.
Volunteers must be computer literate, fluent in Creole
and English. Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services
(CMS) will issue a CMS training certificate at the end
of the session to all participants. I
will need your complete vital information. They include
your complete legal name, complete mailing address,
telephone #, and email address. I need this
information by Monday June 20th, 2011. Please view

Recruitment for Mentoring Workshop at FED
Event
What: Mercy Corps
is hosting a business mentoring workshop at the Femmes
en Democratie Women in Production exposition at the
Miami Beach Conference Center to celebrate the launch of
a new business mentoring platform to connect
entrepreneurs in Haiti with volunteer mentors in Haiti
and abroad (www.micromentor.org/haiti)
This
event will cover the basics of business mentoring and
will include breakout sessions to help entrepreneurs
identify the problems they are facing in their business
and mentor one another on how to address these
problems.
Volunteers
Needed!: We're looking for volunteers that can help us
facilitate the peer mentoring event and translate some
parts of the program into Haitian Creole. All Haitian
Creole speakers, people with business experience and
current and future volunteer mentors in the MicroMentor
program are welcome!

of the Diaspora" conference call on June

with HDF, review and provide input on HDF's proposed
strategic plan, and to have an action oriented
conversation on how the Haitian Diaspora can have a
positive impact in the reconstruction of Haiti by
serving as leaders in a unified Diaspora
organization.
